As December approaches, Burcot Court once again transforms into a place filled with warmth, tradition, laughter, and togetherness. Christmas 2025 brings with it our most ambitious festive programme yet — carefully designed to ensure there is something for everyone, whether you enjoy lively celebrations, quiet moments of reflection, or simply spending time with good company.
From the very first day of December through to New Year’s Eve, Burcot Court will be alive with events, meals, music, films, and festive surprises.
A Festive Month from Start to Finish
Throughout December, residents can enjoy a packed social calendar that blends much-loved traditions with new ideas introduced following resident feedback. With advance notice given for bookings, everyone has the chance to plan ahead while still enjoying the flexibility to dip in and out of events as they wish.
The guiding principle remains the same as ever:
no one needs to feel alone over Christmas at Burcot Court.
Christmas Film Advent Calendar
One of the highlights of the month is our Christmas Film Advent Calendar, running almost daily throughout December. Each screening features a mystery festive or feel-good film, revealed only when the DVD bag is opened — adding an extra touch of excitement and nostalgia. From timeless classics to comforting favourites, the lounge becomes a cosy cinema space as we count down to Christmas together.
Christmas Around the World – Coffee & Cake
This year we’re taking a delicious festive journey across Europe with our Christmas Around the World coffee mornings. Each event pairs freshly brewed coffee with a traditional Christmas cake from a different country, including:

The Christmas Party & “The Real Gifts of Christmas”
The main Christmas Party evening is once again a highlight of the season, featuring a beautifully prepared festive meal followed by “The Real Gifts of Christmas” — a cinematic, silhouette-style Christmas story focusing on the gifts that can’t be wrapped: love, time, forgiveness, and hope.
It’s a moving and memorable centrepiece of the Burcot Court Christmas experience.
Christmas Day & Boxing Day Dining
For those spending the festive days at Burcot Court, our Christmas Day Lunch and Boxing Day Lunch offer beautifully curated menus, complete with complementary drinks and a relaxed, celebratory atmosphere. These meals are prioritised for owners first, ensuring fairness and comfort for all.
Giving Back This Christmas
Christmas at Burcot Court is also about generosity. Donation boxes for the local foodbank and warm winter clothing will be available throughout December, allowing residents to help support those in need during the colder months.
