At Burcot Court, community spirit is at the heart of everything we do — and this October, that spirit truly shone.
Our Macmillan Coffee Morning was a wonderful success, raising over £330 in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. Owners, friends, and family came together over coffee and cake to contribute to a cause that touches so many lives. The lounge was filled with warmth, laughter, and the joy of giving, and it was a reminder of how generous and caring our community is.
Dan’s Charity Haircut
As part of the morning, Dan also took a seat for a charity haircut, raising an incredible £500 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. His hair has been donated to the Little Princess Trust, where it will be used to make wigs for children who have lost their hair through illness.
It was a moment that drew smiles, applause, and even a few happy tears, showing once again how one act of kindness can inspire many.
A Community That Cares
Together, we raised over £800 across both events, a fantastic achievement that will make a real difference. More importantly, it reminded us all of what makes Burcot Court so special: the kindness, generosity, and togetherness of our Owners and friends.
We want to thank everyone who baked, donated, joined us, or simply spread the word. Your support means the world — and it proves once again that Burcot Court is not just a collection of apartments, but a truly caring community.
Looking Ahead
As we move further into autumn and look ahead to the festive season, we carry with us the warmth of this special event. Thank you for making our Macmillan Coffee Morning and charity haircut such a success. Together, we are stronger — and together, we continue to make Burcot Court a place of kindness, connection, and care.
