The Month Ahead at Burcot Court – October 2025

October has arrived, bringing cooler mornings, golden leaves, and the gentle comforts of autumn. At Burcot Court, the season offers a chance to slow down, enjoy familiar routines, and share good company — from a warm drink in the lounge to lively evenings with friends.

This month’s calendar is filled with special gatherings, thoughtful moments, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy life at the Court.

Macmillan Coffee Morning – Wednesday 1st October, 11am

We begin the month with a cause close to many hearts — our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning. Tickets are £5 and include entry, coffee, cake, and a raffle ticket. Extra tickets are £1 each.

This year, Daniel will also be having his hair cut to donate to the Little Princess Trust, while raising funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation — a heartfelt moment in support of two wonderful charities.

Birthdays & Welcomes

We’re delighted to welcome Tasha, our new Duty Manager. With her kind heart and calm approach, Tasha is already a wonderful addition to the Court, and we know she’ll feel right at home among our community.

Yes, the festive season is already on our minds! This year we’ll be bringing back the much-loved Christmas Meal & Party on Tuesday 9th December (Owners only), along with plenty of seasonal treats and surprises.
